DISTILLATES

99% cannabinoid distillate, stripped of terpenes and everything else, which makes it an input rather than a finished product. It is what goes into our cartridges and what our infused flower is sprayed with. Buy it to fill, infuse or formulate. For a concentrate you can actually taste, look at live resin extracts instead.

What a distillate is

A cannabinoid purified by short-path or fractional distillation until almost nothing else remains: typically 99% assay, odourless, tasteless, and viscous at room temperature. Everything that makes cannabis taste of anything has been removed, which sounds like a loss and is in fact the point. A distillate is a blank ingredient: you add the terpenes, you set the ratio, you decide the format. That is why it is the backbone of every infused product in this catalogue and why it is useless as something to consume neat for pleasure.

What people use it for

Filling cartridges

Distillate plus terpenes is a vape. Doing it yourself gives you control over the ratio that no finished cartridge offers.

Infusing flower and resin

This is how infused flower is made. Drum spraying is what produces an even assay; hand application does not.

Edibles and formulation

Already active and already pure, so no decarboxylation and no plant matter to filter. Dose by weight rather than by guess.

What to expect from it

No flavour, no aroma, and an effect determined entirely by which cannabinoid you bought. At 99%, a gram contains roughly 990mg of active compound, which means errors of a tenth of a gram matter. Anyone formulating with distillate should be weighing rather than estimating. Reserved for adults. Never drive after use. Speak to a healthcare professional if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or managing a condition. We make no therapeutic claims.

Handling distillate

Warm it to work with it

Distillate is thick and barely pours cold. Forty degrees in a water bath makes it manageable without degrading it.

Weigh, do not estimate

At 99% purity, volumetric guessing produces doses that are wrong by a factor rather than a percentage.

Store it cold and dark

Light and heat degrade cannabinoids over time. Sealed, cold, opaque. For a ready-made concentrate with terpenes intact, see the hash category.

Why buy distillate here

Every batch carries a certificate of analysis covering assay, residual solvents, heavy metals and pesticides. With a purified concentrate the solvent panel is the only thing that separates a good distillate from a dangerous one, and it is the figure we publish. Volume pricing and documentation for production use are handled through the bulk catalogue.

FAQ

Can I consume distillate neat?

You can, but there is no reason to: no flavour, no aroma, and a dose that is hard to control at 99%. It is an ingredient.

Why does it have no taste?

Distillation removes the terpenes along with everything else. Flavour is added back afterwards in finished products.

How do I use it to fill a cartridge?

Warm it to around forty degrees, blend with terpenes at a few percent, then fill. Overheating degrades the cannabinoid.

Do I need to decarboxylate it?

Not for the already-active cannabinoids. A THCA distillate does need heat to convert.

How should I store it?

Sealed, cold and dark. Light and heat degrade it over months.

Why does the solvent test matter so much?

Because purification uses solvents, and a poorly purged distillate carries them into whatever you make. It is the single most important figure on the certificate.
