What is a Magic Sauce cartridge exactly?
A sealed 1ml tank of live resin assayed at 99%, carrying the cannabis-derived terpenes of its own strain rather than botanical flavouring added after the fact. There is no diluent in the tank, which matters because cutting agents are responsible for most of the throat burn and metallic aftertaste that gets blamed on cannabinoids. The coil is ceramic, so the oil heats without scorching, and the draw is inhale-activated with no button. One millilitre gives roughly 150 to 200 draws.
Which cartridge is right for you?
Three ranges, three different priorities.
Magic Sauce vapes vs 10-OH+ vapes
10-OH+ cartridges use distillate with added terpenes: cheaper, entirely consistent, available in fruit flavours. The 10-OH+ vapes are the everyday option. Magic Sauce tastes like the plant and varies with the harvest.
Magic Sauce vapes vs THCA vapes
THCA needs more heat to activate and rewards a patient draw with flower-like flavour. The THCA vapes are the pick for that. Live resin gets you there without the technique.
Magic Sauce vapes vs Delta-10 vapes
Delta-10 is the stimulating, daytime option with a sharper edge. Our Delta-10 vapes suit that brief. Magic Sauce is fuller and more rounded, which is what the terpene load does.
Strains and what you taste
Because the terpenes come from the plant, each cartridge reads as its strain. Crazy Dog runs gassy and sharp, Samurai Jack stays citrus-led and bright, and Gorilla Cookies is the sweet, doughy end. Onset lands in two to five minutes and runs two to four hours. Reserved for adults, never while driving, and best avoided if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or on prescription medication.
How to get the most out of a live resin cartridge
Live resin is thicker than distillate and less tolerant of heat. Both facts change how you should run it.
Voltage
2.4V to 3.0V, no higher. Above that you caramelise the terpenes and the flavour you paid for turns bitter. Compatible hardware sits in the THC cartridge section.
Priming
Two short pulls without inhaling, then draw normally. A cold live resin cartridge needs a moment to wet the coil.
Storage
Upright, cool, out of direct light. Laid flat, thick oil migrates and the coil runs dry. Prefer a device with nothing to assemble? The disposable weed pens cover that.
Why buy your live resin cartridges here
We extract and fill in house, which is the only way to guarantee there is no diluent in the tank and that the terpenes match the strain on the label. Every batch is tested for cannabinoids, terpenes, heavy metals and residual solvents, with the certificate of analysis supplied. Packs of 25 are priced for regular use. For the same extract in a format you can smoke, see Magic Sauce flowers, and resellers get volume pricing on bulk Magic Sauce vapes.
FAQ
What does 99% live resin mean?
The tank holds extract assayed at 99% active cannabinoid, with the remainder being the strain's own terpenes. No PG, VG, MCT or vitamin E has been added.
Why is live resin thicker than normal vape oil?
Because nothing has been added to thin it. Expect a slower first draw on a cold cartridge and prime with two short pulls.
How many draws per cartridge?
150 to 200 from 1ml, depending on draw length and voltage.
Why does mine taste burnt?
Almost always voltage. Drop to 2.4V. Live resin scorches at settings that distillate tolerates, and a burnt coil cannot be recovered.
Are the terpenes really from the strain?
Yes, and the certificate of analysis lists them. That is the whole point of fresh-frozen extraction, and it is why the flavour shifts slightly between harvests.
Cartridge or disposable?
We supply live resin in 1ml 510 cartridges so you can run it on a low-voltage battery you control. The wider vapes category lists disposables across the other cannabinoid ranges.
