What is a THCA cartridge exactly?
A sealed tank of THCA distillate assayed at 99%, flavoured with terpenes and cut with nothing. The absence of diluent is the first thing you notice: no throat burn, no metallic finish, and a visibly thicker oil. The coil is ceramic rather than cotton so the oil heats evenly, and the draw is inhale-activated. The particularity of THCA in a cartridge is that it must decarboxylate in the coil to work, which means voltage matters more here than with an already-active cannabinoid. One millilitre gives roughly 150 to 200 draws.
Which cartridge suits you?
All three ranges use the same hardware. The molecule is the variable.
THCA vapes vs 10-OH+ vapes
10-OH+ is active as supplied, so it works at any voltage and gives the same result every time. The 10-OH+ vapes are the more forgiving option. THCA rewards a slightly hotter, slower draw with a more traditional profile.
THCA vapes vs Magic Sauce vapes
Magic Sauce cartridges use live resin, so the terpenes are the strain's own rather than added. Better flavour, higher price. THCA is the value pick in a 99% cartridge.
THCA vapes vs Delta-10 vapes
Delta-10 is the stimulating, daytime end of the catalogue. The Delta-10 vapes serve that. THCA converts to Delta-9, which is rounder and more familiar.
Flavours and effect
Onset lands in two to five minutes, which makes a cartridge the easiest way to titrate: one draw, wait, decide. MAC stays gassy and dense, Lemon Cheese is sharp and savoury, Maui Mango the sweet tropical option. Effect runs two to four hours in a familiar Delta-9 register. Reserved for adults, never while driving, and best avoided if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or on prescription medication.
Getting the settings right
More THCA cartridges are wasted on bad voltage than on bad oil.
Voltage
2.8V to 3.2V. Slightly higher than you would run an active cannabinoid, because conversion needs the heat. Below 2.4V you will taste the oil without feeling much. Hardware sits in the THC cartridge section.
Draw length
Longer and slower than you think. A short, sharp puff does not give the coil time to convert the THCA it has heated.
Storage
Upright, cool, out of light. Undiluted distillate is thick and migrates if laid flat. For a device with nothing to configure, see the disposable weed pens.
Why buy your THCA cartridges here
Hardware and oil sourced separately and assembled to our spec, which is how we keep diluent out of the tank. Every batch is tested for cannabinoids, heavy metals and residual solvents, with the certificate of analysis supplied. Packs of 25. For the same cannabinoid in flower form, see THCA flowers, and the vapes category lists every cartridge we make.
FAQ
Why does my THCA cartridge need more voltage?
Because THCA must decarboxylate in the coil before it does anything. 2.8V to 3.2V is the working range. Too low and you taste it without feeling it.
How many draws in 1ml?
150 to 200, depending on draw length and voltage. Longer draws are more efficient with this cannabinoid.
Is there any filler in the tank?
No. 99% THCA distillate plus terpenes. No PG, VG, MCT or vitamin E, which is why the oil is thick.
Why is the first draw hard to pull?
Undiluted distillate is viscous when cold. Prime with two short pulls without inhaling, then draw normally.
Will it show on a drug test?
Yes. Once converted it is THC. Avoid entirely if you are subject to testing.
Cartridge or flower for a first THCA purchase?
Cartridge, because the dose is controllable draw by draw. Flower is the better experience once you know how the cannabinoid behaves.
